Qld: Fraser trial goes ahead
The trial of alleged multiple murderer LEONARD JOHN FRASER will continue despite oneof his suspected victims being found alive.
FRASER's trial was sensationally adjourned last Thursday after the court was told thatone of the four women he had pleaded not guilty to murdering, NATASHA RYAN, had been foundhiding in the home of her boyfriend in Rockhampton.
FRASER, aged 51, was immediately declared not guilty of Ms RYAN's murder.
He still faces charges of murdering 19-year-old SYLVIA MARIA BENEDETTI, 36-year-oldBEVERLY LEGGO and 39-year-old JULIE DAWN TURNER in the Rockhampton area between August1998 and April 24 1999.
In the Supreme Court in Brisbane, Justice BRIAN AMBROSE has decided today that FRASER'strial on the remaining charges should resume.
